　　准备雅思考试的考生们都知道，雅思口语一直是很多同学在雅思考试路途中的“拦路虎”，想要得高分，更是难上加难。雅思官方在词汇多样性（Lexical Resource）中，其中有一条7分标准是这样的：使用一些非常见的词汇及习语，对语体及词汇搭配有所认识，但有时词语选择不甚恰当。所以我们可以看出，如果口语想要达到7分以上，就要掌握一定数量的习语，并能够准确使用它们。所以小编整理了雅思考生能够用到的习语，希望大家能够积累学习下去。

　　字面意思：（天上）下狗下猫。

　　实际意思：倾盆大雨。（英语受北欧文化的影响。在古代北欧神话中，狗象征风，猫象征雨。“猫和狗”象征“狂风暴雨”。）

　　英文释义：Rain very hard.

　　E.g.: There is no way they’ll be playing at the park, it’s raining cats and dogs out there!

　　(your) heart goes out to (someone)

　　字面意思：（你的）心跑出来了走向（某人）

　　实际意思：对某人表示同情

　　英文释义：(One) feels sorrow or sympathy for (someone), typically because someone is experiencing a particularly tragic situation.

　　E.g.: Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by this disaster.

　　字面意思：笨的鸟不得不在很早的时候学习飞翔

　　实际意思：笨鸟先飞早入林；通常形容资质一般但很努力的人

　　英文释义：It is used to describe someone who compensates for his/her weakness by working hard.

　　E.g.: I believe I can reach my goal through hard working. A clumsy bird should make an early start.

　　字面意思：对味道是没有解释的

　　实际意思：萝卜白菜各有所爱;人各有所好

　　英文释义：People like or dislike things for inexplicable reasons.
